The impact cradle bed is used in highly loaded dumping systems of belt conveyors – in the place of receiving the load dumped from the higher conveyor. The impact cradle beds replace sets of feeding idlers.

They are manufactured in a very heavy version – they replace sets of idlers with a diameter of 159 mm and has a 600 mm-long module.

We manufacture the impact cradle beds for the following belts:
Bt=1000 mm
Bt=1200 mm
Bt=1400 mm
Bt=1600 mm
for angles of the trough: 30 and 35 degrees

The dimensions of the impact cradle beds are adjusted to dimensions of transverse load-bearing frames of the conveyor tracking standardised by the standards PN and DIN.

Equipment characteristics (essential design features)

The bed is mounted to the load-bearing structure of the conveyor by screwing special handlers.
Bars are mounted to the load-bearing structure of the bed with screws permanently screwed into those bars.
Impact bars are additionally reinforced with steel external and internal channels.
Modular design (very heavy version – n x 600 mm).
Steel components of the load-bearing structure are powder painted (any RAL colour) or hot-dip galvanized.

Notice

In front of and behind the module of the impact cradle bed there need to be installed heavy feeding sets of three idlers and adjust their height to ensure that the unladen belt is 15-20 mm above the surface of the impact cradle bed.
