The flat belt snow plough, type POTP, is used to remove snow or water from belts transporting e.g. coal to boiler tanks at power plants or CHP plants. It can be used in any other transport systems where snow or water is undesirable on the belt.

We produce the POTP snow ploughs for belts Bt=500 – 2000 mm.

The POTP snow ploughs are manufactured in full automation (operation of actuators and electric shifters) or manually controlled (for smaller belt widths).

discharging snow or water from the top cable of the conveyor at any point on the conveyor route.
for one-way operation
for new and worn belts
for repaired, glued and metal locked belts
for belts with speeds above 6.30 m/s

Equipment characteristics (essential design features)

We comprehensively design and manufacture snow ploughs together with chute(s) and the operation system for custom orders.
Lifting the plough manually and electrically.
Flattening the belt only in the operation section of the plough.
Flattening the belt only when lowering the plough blade.
The steel construction that is sandblasted and powder coated in RAL colour or hot dip galvanized.
