The two-side cleaning plough, PCD “Prestige”-type, is used to clean the upper cover of the flexible connector of the lower conveyor. It protects the bend pulley or tension pulleys of the weight mechanism against damage on the conveyor tracking.

The two-side cleaning ploughs, PCD “Prestige”-type, are manufactured for belts Bt=500 – 1400 mm.

Use

It cleans the upper cover of the flexible connector of the lower conveyor in front of the dump pulley or the pulley of the weight mechanism on the conveyor tracking.
It is designed for one-way operation.
It is designed for new and used belts.
It is designed for belts that are vulcanised, glued and joined with metal fastenings.
It is designed for belts operating at a speed up to 3.15 m/s.
It is designed for cleaning belts from all transported materials.

Equipment characteristics (essential design features)

Covered two-side spring tensioners.
The pressure bar independent of plough arms.
The pressure bar connected with tensioners through articulated joints.
Cleaning bars made of flexible and extremely abrasion resistant PUR elastomer (as per the comparative research conducted by the Polymer Materials Department, the Institute of Materials Science of the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin).
Easy-to-change cleaning bars.
Telescopic arms facilitating the adjustment of the plough to the conveyor’s load-bearing frame and simplifying the assembly process.
The plough is fixed to the conveyor’s load-bearing structure by screwing assembly metal sheets together (welding or drilling is not required).
The steel structure is sand-blasted and powder painted (RAL colour) or hot-dip galvanized.
The scraper does not require any constant control (periodical controls conducted at the plant every 2-3 months).
